Following high school Richards spent a season (2016-17) at Gillette College playing alongside twin sister Zoe. She then played three seasons at University of Alaska Fairbanks where she made 70 appearances for the Nanooks.
Named to the Conference (Great Northwest Athletic Conference) All-Academic Team in both her Junior and Senior (2019-20) years.
Twin sister Zoe is playing for Otago Gold Rush.

Gemma Etheredge (nee Hazeldine) has played club basketball for North Canterbury for a number of years but is best known as a Canterbury Tactix netball representative.
She was called into the Southern Steel squad as an interim replacement player in 2020. Etheredge had not played elite netball since 2016 having taken time away to start a family – she has two children.

Elia (née Sadler) played at Crowder Junior College (2012-13) before playing 55 games in her two seasons at Arkansas University.
Returned from the States in 2016 helping Canterbury Wildcats win a WBC title that year.
‘T’ was a member of the Cook Islands team that won gold at the FIBA Polynesian Cup in Samoa in 2018. Won a 3×3 silver medal with the Cook Islands at the 2019 Pacific Games.

She averaged 7.5 points a game in the 2019 WBC.
In 2014 played for the New Zealand U20 team.
Morrison was a member of both the 2016 and 2017 Wildcats WBC Championship winning teams.
Played at NCAA Division II basketball at Southern New Hampshire University 2016-2018.
Graduated from Lincoln University with a degree in psychology.

The 2014 Tall Fern has been a regular member of the Wildcats squad since 2012.
Crotty was a member of the 2016 Wildcats WBC Championship winning team.
In 2017 she played a season in Melbourne where she won a Big V Championship with Sunbury Jets. The Jets were coached by former Tall Ferns coach Kennedy Kereama.

Named to the All-Star Five at the 2019 U23 Nationals after helping Canterbury to the bronze medal position.
Hippolite is on a basketball scholarship at Lincoln University.

Rosalia, a former New Zealand age-group international, was a rookie with the Wildcats in 2019 after shifting south from Hawkes Bay to take up a scholarship at Lincoln University (2019-present).
Played at the 2017 FIBA U16 Asian Championship in India where New Zealand finished 4th.
She captained the Napier Girls High School team that finished 9th at the 2018 Secondary Schools National Championships.
Samia is on a basketball scholarship at Lincoln University and younger sister Melika is playing for NZ Select.

Played for NZ Select v China B in 2016.
Missed the 2019 season due to injury.
Sister of Tall Fern Toni Farnworth.
