YOUNG WILDCATS READY FOR 3X3 CHALLENGE

The Alloyfold Canterbury Wildcats have named their Schick 3X3 Cup roster with national junior representatives Rosalia Samia and Lauryn Hippolite (both pictured) set to lead the team on their quest to win the November 12-14 event at ILT Stadium Southland.

Samia and Hippolite will be joined by Emma Trolove and Tessa Morrison, making up a quartet that could cause a few surprises at the inaugural 3X3 national-level competition.

The Wildcats will also be a young combination - Morrison at 23 is the oldest player, with Trolove (turning 22 on the opening day of the event), Hippolite (20) and Samia (19) giving the team an average age of just 21 years.

The Wildcats are no strangers to success, often seen as frontrunners in the Sal's NBL, and no doubt they will want to put a stamp on the 3X3 format as well.

Samia and Hippolite have both previously been involved in Junior Tall Ferns camps and teams, bringing high-level experience with them that will count for plenty when the action tips off.

Tickets are now on sale and available HERE.
