THINK YOU KNOW THE RULES OF 3X3?

Speak with any player involved in 3X3 and they will immediately tell you it is a very different format of basketball compared to the traditional five against five. Speak with any referee and they will tell you the same - different rules require different skills for both players and referees.

Across the world 3X3 is rapidly growing. It is fast and furious, and openly viewed as being a physical format with more contact allowed.

Over the last decade New Zealand has proven to be a 3X3 force on the global stage with a number of medals already banked, and with the introduction of the NBL's annual Schick 3X3 Cup the growth of the game is expected to further blossom in New Zealand.

One thing that might surprise people about 3X3 are the rules - they are different and take some time to adjust to.

See the following links to learn more about the game and its rules. Sharpen yourself up ahead of the Schick 3X3 Cup, which is coming your way between November 12-14 from ILT Stadium Southland, featuring 20 teams in action (1o x men / 10 x women).
