The Southern Hoiho steamroll the Kāhu!

The Southern Hoiho (73) defeated the BNZ Northern Kāhu (59).

The Kāhu came out all fired up after a Rapid League win with Reinoehl putting up some excellent plays and coming away with 16pts and 7rebs. Mansfield also had some solid plays for the Kāhu with 16pts, 4asts and 7rebs. The first two quarters would be a very close fight between the two teams. However, the Hoiho found the energy at the end of game to claim back the lead and run away with the scoring and Rebecca Pizzey coming away with 20pts alongside Lil Dart with 19pts. Paige Bradley also put on a show for Hoiho fans with 11pts and 10 asts.

Sky Broadband Rapid League

The BNZ Northern Kāhu (33) defeat the Southern Hoiho (22).

The Kāhu continued their winning ways in the Rapid League at home against the Hoiho with Keely Tini putting up 11pts and 2 asts. On debut for the Kāhu was Sienna Maurice who made a statement in her first Rapid League game by immediately making an impact. For the Hoiho, Howden had a strong game putting up a very nice 7pts and Lil Dart put up 8pts but the unforced errors would be the difference and the Kahu would come away with their second Rapid League win of the season.
