The Queens edge out the Whai in a close match up in Porirua holding onto the win. It was Kristy Wallace who consistently put up points when needed for the Queens, putting up a monster 26 points. Brooke Basham was excellent off the bench putting up 15 points for the Queens. The duo of Queens players Lou Brown (10pts) and Penina Davidson (12pts) would be too much for the Whai. Hannah Hank (26 pts) and Mikayla Cowling (23pts) put up solid points for the Whai but they would ultimately fall short.

The ANZCO Tokomanawa Queens (46) defeat Whai Basketball (34) at home.
The Queens came out on top in the Rapid League game with both Hippolite (18pts) and Rogers (13pts) putting on a show for the home fans putting up some mega points. Josephine Trousdell also put in the work to get the Queens the win with 6pts. The Queens held strong throughout the whole game and then ended up pushing to a more than 10 point gap to the Whai. Locandro would put in some solid work for the Whai with 11 pts but it wouldn't be enough to skate past the strong Queens Rapid League team.
