The top seed in the the G.J. Gardner Homes Tauihi Final Four wasn't decided until the final game of the season when the ANZCO Tokomanawa Queens defeated the BNZ Northern Kāhu (95-76) to knock them off the top perch. The Probuild ITM Mainland Pouākai had defeated the Queens (87-70) in the first game of the weekend to thrust themselves into first place with 9 wins on the season, including 6 of their last 7, but would have lost a tie-breaker on points percentage to the Kāhu had ended the season with equal wins.
The win by the Queens on the final game of the season not enough to secure the 3rd seed, which went to The Northern Group Tauranga Whai after their big win over the Southern Hoiho on the second game of the weekend.

Following Final Four Weekend the highest remaining seed will host the Grand Final on Sunday December 22nd at 2:30pm to decide the 2024 champion.
