This year's Sal's NBL season will once again be supported by the under-pinning D-League with eight teams set to battle it out over the opening four days of this year's event in south Auckland.
2020 champions Taranaki Thunder will again be suiting up and will be one of the favourites, while Harbour Basketball will be kept busy with two teams on the floor.
Under D-League rules each team is permitted (3) players over the age of 23 years.
The Championship Game on Sunday August 15 will be broadcast live on Sky Sport.
